Matt is a recent transplant to Wichita coming from Austin, Texas. He was raised Evangelical Southern Baptist but left religion behind in his late teens. Nowadays Matt is an agnostic atheist who thinks Jesus was a pretty cool guy with excellent ideas about how to live a good life. Since joining Wichita Oasis, Matt has found it to be a wonderful community of good, open-minded people who care about making a difference in the world. It's like all his favorite parts of going to church as a kid, like potlucks and fun events and good people, without all the supernatural stuff. It's a great place to be!
