Musician Bio: William [Dot] Bloomquist is a Kansas creative and educator. William’s career has consisted of performing poetry and songwriting, producing music for himself and others, making art, and teaching private lessons. His breadth of work is tied together with a serious but clever aesthetic that ruminates on pattern, relationship, multitudes of identity, and the tension of reality vs imagination. His works of art and music can be found in local venues and a variety of social media galleries such as Instagram, Twitter, and Tiktok. In addition to his creative endeavors, William is an advocate for the ancient Chinese game of Go, running a local club and occasionally streaming his games online.
