Gather and enjoy a cup (or two) of fresh gourmet coffee from Costa Rica. We will be sharing Guipipia Roaster's Tarrazu dark roast, which is known for its floral aroma, chocolatey taste, and buttery aftertaste. Rachel will give a brief talk about how this special coffee came to be, along with some fun stories about visiting Costa Rica. The rest of the hour we will be free to relax and catch up with friends.
About Oasis. Oasis is a place for the non-religious to come together to celebrate the human experience. We are a secular community that meets weekly on Sunday mornings to enjoy fascinating talks, live music, and friendship. The program starts at 11:00 AM, and people are encouraged to come half an hour earlier for coffee, snacks, and conversation. If it's your first time visiting, make sure to stop by our welcome table to say hello and learn more about Oasis.
Kids Room. Oasis is focused on families, and we provide our children with engaging and fun activities during Sunday gatherings overseen by a paid, background-checked staff. Parents can drop off their young ones with our team in the kids room, where they will meet new friends and enjoy fun activities together. Along with the kids' room at weekly Sunday gatherings, Oasis provides a network of support for parents and children to grow up in a framework of compassion, critical thinking and dogma-free education.
