We’ll address your most pressing questions on the topic: What makes people put such foul stuff in their mouths? How come this junk hasn’t done the world a favor by disappearing from shelves? Is black licorice eaten at higher rates by individuals with sociopathic tendencies? Why is there so much hate for this sweet treat? Is black licorice one of those emo kids? About Oasis. Oasis is a place for the non-religious to come together to celebrate the human experience. We are a secular community that meets weekly on Sunday mornings to enjoy fascinating talks, live music, and friendship. The program starts at 11:00 AM, and people are encouraged to come half an hour earlier for coffee, snacks, and conversation. Parents can drop off their young ones with our team in the kids room, where they will meet new friends and enjoy fun activities together. Along with the kids' room at weekly Sunday gatherings, Oasis provides a network of support for parents and children to grow up in a framework of compassion, critical thinking and dogma-free education.
