Speaker bio: Heather (they/them/theirs) is a Clinical Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Heather is also working toward their certification as an AASECT Sex therapist. Heather is passionate about marginalized populations, diversity and inclusion. Heather embodies a trauma informed, safe, judgment free space for people to be themselves and feel empowered as their own person. They are genuinely warm, direct, and compassionate. Heather is a member of WPATH, American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT), and National Coalition for Sexual Freedom (NCSF).

About Oasis. Oasis is a place for the non-religious to come together to celebrate the human experience. We are a secular community that meets weekly on Sunday mornings to enjoy fascinating talks, live music, and friendship. The program starts at 11:00 AM, and people are encouraged to come half an hour earlier for coffee, snacks, and conversation. Kids Room. Oasis is focused on families, and we provide children with engaging and fun activities during Sunday gatherings. Parents can drop off their young ones with our team in the kids room, where they will meet new friends and enjoy fun activities together. Along with the kids' room at weekly Sunday gatherings, Oasis provides a network of support for parents and children to grow up in a framework of compassion, critical thinking and dogma free education.
