Speaker Bio: Brian Henning RN, BSN has been with Ascension Via Christi Hospitals Wichita, Inc as a registered nurse since 2009. Worked on the Neuro Critical Care ICU from 2009 to 2018. From 2018 to present Brian has been working for the Comprehensive Stroke Program as a Data Quality Analyst. Previous professional experience includes: Mathematics Teacher for USD 259 from 2002 to 2006; Kansas Army National Guard from 2002 to 2012.
About Oasis. Oasis is a place for the non-religious to come together to celebrate the human experience. We are a secular community that meets weekly on Sunday mornings to enjoy fascinating talks, live music, and friendship. The program starts at 11:00 AM, and people are encouraged to come half an hour earlier for coffee, snacks, and conversation. Kids Room. Oasis is focused on families, and we provide children with engaging and fun activities during Sunday gatherings. Parents can drop off their young ones with our team in the kids room, where they will meet new friends and enjoy fun activities together. Along with the kids' room at weekly Sunday gatherings, Oasis provides a network of support for parents and children to grow up in a framework of compassion, critical thinking and dogma free education.
